Xiamen Hualian Electronics Corp. Ltd was founded in August 1984 with a registered capital of RMB 129 million. In January 2017, it was restructured into a joint-stock company and listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) in August 2017 with the stock code 872122.

Hualian is committed to the research, development, and manufacturing of optocoupler products. Starting in 1999, Hualian has been devoted to the creation of forward-thinking technologies which include numerous product lines such as transistor output, Traic output, MOSFET output, High Speed, MOS Relay, and Gate Drive. These package platforms cover DIP4/SMD4, SOP4/SOP5, LSOP4, 1.27SOP4, DIP6/SMD6, DIP8/SMD8, SOP8, LSOP6, WSOP8, and SOP16.
