Datalynq uses easy-to-understand risk scores to grade electronic components on a scale from 1-to-5 in design risk, market availability, multi-source availability, inventory, and pricing. This data is collected from the leading e-commerce site for electronic components, Sourcengine, ensuring Live BOM’s insights are pertinent and accurate.

Facilitated through API, Live BOM allows Cadence users to quickly leverage commercial market intelligence for any electronic component through the product design process. Design engineers can now assess and reduce design risk and mitigate other supply chain disruptions within the OrCAD X platform. Through Live BOM, users can be alerted to upcoming risks and annotate product schematics with Live BOM’s offered form-fit-function (FFF) alternates or drop-in replacements (DIRs).
