We’re Back! Sourceability is Attending Electronica 2024

Electronica is coming and Sourceability is excited to be exhibiting again at the world's leading fair for electronic components!

It’s good to be back. Sourceability will return to electronica, the world’s leading electronics trade fair, this November from the 12th to the 15th! This will mark electronica’s 60th anniversary since it premiered in 1964 as the first trade fair in Germany devoted to electronic components. Sourceability is excited to share this fantastic occasion in electronica’s history with all of you.

Sourceability will be joined by its fantastic team of sales, procurement, and industry experts waiting to make your acquaintance at Booth #379 in Hall B5. This will be a massive show, with all 18 exhibit halls occupied for the first time at electronica. We are excited to be joined by so many exceptional organizations and can’t wait to discover where the future of electronic components will go next.

What can you expect from Sourceability at electronica 2024?

To begin with, we know that electronic component excess is still a rampant problem affecting numerous market sectors. Despite the popularity of artificial intelligence (AI) contributing to high demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM), enterprise solid-state drives (SSDs), graphic processing units (GPUs), and advanced packaging, the industry as a whole is still battling its way to stabilization and recovery.

Sourceability knows that only when this challenge is dealt with can companies across the industry, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), contract manufacturers (CMs), and electronic manufacturing service (EMS) providers, grow. Since the end of the global semiconductor shortage, Sourceabilty has been working tirelessly to help companies of all sizes sell their excess inventory on our global e-commerce platform, Sourcengine.

Sourcengine has search engine-indexed pages, flexible selling models, and an audience of over 100,000 interested buyers. Our experts can help OEMs, CMs, and EMS providers of any size quickly sell their excess globally without additional stress.

For companies eager to start securing their stock for the upcoming growth in 2025 as the market returns to a new normal, Sourceability’s franchised partnerships put your design engineers in contact with experts who know how to utilize a given component best. To ensure organizations stay on top of market shifts with insights into disruption-prone areas of the electronic components supply chain, Sourceability’s market intelligence tool, Datalynq, can help.

Datalynq’s recent integration into Cadence’s OrCAD X Platform under Live BOM reveals how critical data-driven insights into the electronic components supply chain have become in recent years. Live BOM can alert engineers early in the design phase to which electronic components are more prone to risks such as obsolescence or disruptions alongside equivalents that can be utilized as form-fit-function (FFF) alternates or drop-in replacements (DIRs).

In the weeks leading up to electronica, we’ll share some insider tips and tricks for those making their debut or returning visitors eager to make the most of their trip. Stay tuned!
